Hinweise für den sicheren
Gebrauch
Der Multiplexer und das Steckernetzgerät entspre-
chen der EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit. Das Steckernetzgerät
entspricht zusätzlich der Niederspannungsrichtlinie
73/23/EWG.
Warnung: Dieser Multiplexer entspricht den Grenz-
werten der Klasse A. Der Betrieb des Gerätes in
Wohngebieten kann zu Störungen des Rundfunk-
und Fernsehempfangs führen. Ergreifen Sie in die-
sem Fall geeignete Maßnahmen.
Das Steckernetzgerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie
deshalb niemals selbst Eingriffe im Netzgerät vor.
Durch unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Ge-
fahr eines elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem er-
lischt beim Öffnen des Netzgerätes oder des Mul-
tiplexers jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt folgende Punkte:
Der Multiplexer und das Steckernetzgerät sind nur
zur Verwendung im Innenbereich geeignet. Schüt-
zen Sie sie vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger
Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 35 °C).
Die im Multiplexer entstehende Wärme muß durch
Luftzirkulation abgegeben werden. Darum dürfen
die Lüftungsschlitze des Gehäuses nicht mit ir-
gendwelchen Gegenständen abgedeckt werden.
Stecken Sie nichts durch die Lüftungsschlitze!
Dies kann zu einem Defekt des Gerätes führen.

Safety Notes
The multiplexer and the plug-in power supply unit
correspond to the directive 89/336/EEC for electro-
magnetic compatibility. In addition, the plug-in power
supply unit corresponds to the low voltage directive
73/23/EEC.
Warning: This multiplexer corresponds to the limit
values of class A. The operation of the unit in resi-
dential areas can cause interferences of the radio
and TV reception. In this case please take appro-
priate measures.
The power supply unit uses lethal mains voltage
(230 V~). In order to prevent a shock hazard, do
not open it. Leave servicing to authorized, skilled
personnel only. Furthermore, any guarantee claim
expires if the multiplexer or the plug-in power
supply unit has been opened.
It is necessary to observe in any case the following
items:
The multiplexer and the plug-in power supply unit
are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 35 °C).
The heat being generated in the multiplexer has to
be carried off via air circulation. Therefore, the
vents of the housing must not be covered with any
objects.
Do not insert anything into the vents! This can
lead to a defect of the unit.
Do not set the multiplexer into operation, or imme-
diately disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket if:
1. there is visible damage to the plug-in power
supply unit or multiplexer,
