    EMPTY THE DUST CUP CHECK FOR BLOCKAGES 1 Pull up on the dust cup release latch and lift the dust cup off the canister. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the vacuum is turned off and unplugged before maintenance/troubleshooting checks. 2 Holding the dust cup over a rubbish bag or bin, press the bottom EMPTY release latch.
