Disassembling/assembling of blade case and compression spring
i) Lower the blade case(motor in the
body) at maximum and insert the
pin(Jig) with 4-6.5 mm in dia. and 120
mm or more in length into the two
holes shown on the figure.(The driver
instead of pin can be used.) The
compression spring can be fixed while
it is being shrunk.
ii) Remove the screw for mounting the
link plate to disconnect the rod 16, and
the blade case can be removed from the
arm.
iii) Place the block with suitable size for housing
between the pins(jigs) as shown on the figure,
use the arbor to press the spring holder, pull out
the two pins, and lift up the compression spring
little by little to remove it.
*Be sure to lift up the compression spring only
after removing the both two pins.
For assembling, proceed in the reverse order
against disassembling.
Disassembling/assembling of the link plate
i) The link plate serves for opening/closing the safety cover and also serves as the upper limit stopper in swinging
up/down the blade case. Therefore, before removing the link plate, the compression spring should be shrunk
while referring to the [Disassembling/assembling of the blade case and compression spring].
ii) To remove the link plate from the blade case, remove the mounting screw at the blade case side.
For assembling, proceed in the reverse order against disassembling.
*Apply the adhesive on the mounting screws(both at arm side and blade case side) of the link plate in
assembling.
