The Fn + F8 key combination may not function during certain operations, such as
during HDD/SDD/CD-ROM/DVD-ROM access. Operability can be checked by confirm-

HDD motor timeout: When the hard disk drive is not accessed for more than two
minutes, the hard disk motor is turned off.

or an external mouse for more than two minutes, the LCD
and the hard disk drive will be powered off. Even when an
