(PDV-BT20 is supplied with PDV-LC20)
Recharging
Before using the battery pack for the first time, charge it as described below.
• Charging starts when the AC adapter provided with the player is connected
to the battery pack.
• Charging completes in about 2.5 hours for the PDV-BT20 and in about 5
hours for the PDV-BT25.
• The battery pack can be charged even when it is attached to the player. It
can also be charged in the stand-alone state.
• When the battery pack is attached to the player, the battery pack can be
charged only when the player power is off. The charging stops whenever the
player power is switched on.
Service Life and Recycling of the Battery Pack
• When the time required for recharging is prolonged or the playback avail-
able time from full recharging to exhaustion becomes extremely short, the
battery pack may have reached the end of service life. (The possible re-
charging count is about 300 times.)
• To save precious resources, do not dispose of an unnecessary battery pack
but bring it to a dealer cooperating with the rechargeable battery recycling
campaign.
