Troubleshooting

Symptom
The hood is not working.
Hood performance is poor.
Hood stopped working.
Service
Any servicing should be performed by a
qualified technician. When making an ap-
pointment, state the full reference of your
equipment (model, type and serial number).
Find this information in the nameplate at-
tached to the hood (Fig. 1).

Check that
• The appliance is connected to a live power line.
• A speed has been selected.
• The selected fan speed is enough for the amount of
smoke and vapors to be removed.
• The kitchen is well ventilated and allowing the inlet of
fresh air.
• The carbon filter is not worn out (hood operating in recy-
cling mode).
• The appliance is connected to a live power line.
• The omnipolar cutoff device has been activated.
