IN GENERAL
COLD AIR VENTILATION PHASE
IMPORTANT
Laundry must be properly spun before drying.
Drying times and consequently energy consumption depend on:
- type of laundry;
- quantity of laundry;
- your washing machine's spin-dry speed;
- the temperature in the room where the dryer is.
In selecting programmes, follow the instructions supplied by the makers of the
laundry items very closely, especially in the case of synthetic fabrics or any other
fibres that don't tolerate high temperatures.
In the interval between "10 minutes" and the end of the programme the is a cool air
ventilation phase (lasting 10 minutes).
This 10 minute cool air phase may be used for purposes other than drying, eg. to
remove persistent smells.
