    INTRODUCTION The Iddero Touchone™ is a high quality wall-mounted indoor monitor featuring a true colour 7” TFT touch display that combines the following functions: Indoor terminal for a compatible video door phone system Real-time IP camera monitoring IP intercom function The Touchone features intuitive, user-friendly touch screen operation, as well as real-time high quality full motion video and full-duplex audio with acoustic echo cancellation.

    For detailed help on configuring the network settings on your PC, please refer to your operating system’s documentation Login To access the web-based administration interface, open a web browser and enter the IP address of the Touchone. A login screen will be displayed. The default username and password are as follows: Username: admin Password: touchone The current session will also expire automatically after a certain period of inactivity.

    IP address / hostname: The IP address or hostname of the door station. This is used for video streaming and, depending on the configuration, for door opening. The specified IP address or hostname should be reachable from the Touchone.     Direct support of predefined camera manufacturers and models assumes that the camera uses a factory default configuration. If this is not the case (for example, if the camera has been set to use a custom path for the video stream), then configure it as a “Generic” camera in the Touchone. www.iddero.com...
  • Page 8 Name: A descriptive name that will be shown onscreen to identify this camera. Manufacturer: Select the manufacturer of the camera, if it is directly supported by the Touchone. Select “Generic” if the manufacturer of the camera is not listed.

    UI preferences The UI preferences section lets you upload custom background images to the Touchone. It is possible to configure two different images, one for the home screen and a second one (“General”) for all other menus and functions. Background images must be in jpeg, png, or gif format, with 800x480 resolution, and maximum size of 1 MB.

    Configuration data The following options are available: Backup config: Lets you download a backup file of the current Touchone configuration. Restore from backup: Restores the Touchone configuration from an existing backup file. Reset to factory defaults: Resets the Touchone configuration to factory defaults.
  • Page 12 Avoid interrupting the update operation or turning off the Touchone during the update process. If the firmware update process is interrupted, the Touchone could be left in a locked state and would need to be returned to factory for repair.
  • Page 13: Recovery Mode

    If you lose the administrator username and password, you will not be able to modify the configuration of the Touchone anymore. In this case, you will need to boot into “Recovery mode”. For security reasons, entering Recovery mode requires physical access to the touch panel.
  • Page 14 When in Recovery mode, the web-based administration interface does not require an explicit login, but the available options will be limited to only two: Reset the configuration to factory defaults, and reboot the system.   • Page 15 Take care not to spill any food or liquids on the Touchone. Do not use the Touchone if it has been damaged — for example, if the unit is cracked, punctured, or damaged by water.
