1. Use extradetergentplusa non-precipitating w atersoftenerdissolvedin water
beforeaddingclothes.Use non-chlorinebleach.
2. Havea specialfilteror chemicalfeederinstiled in yourhometo removeiron and
manganesefrom water.
3. Runhot waterfor a fewminutesto cleanironresiduebuildupin lines;drainwater
heateroccasionally.
4. Toren~ove spots: spreadstainedportionoverpan of boilingwaterandsqueeze
lemonjuice throughstain. Toremoveovemi~ yeliow,use a commerciallyavailable
rust scaleremover,followingpackageinstructions.If porcelaindamagecan occur,
do notuse in the washer;use a plasticcontainer.
