Setup
Before you start using the phone, you need to insert the micro-USIM card.

Installing the micro-USIM card and battery

1. To remove the back
cover, hold the phone
firmly in one hand.
With your other hand,
lift off the back cover
with your thumbnail as
shown in figure below.
TIP! Be careful to insert the micro-USIM card in the right place. It should be placed under the card slot.

2. Slide the SIM card
into the lower slot
for the SIM card as
shown in figure. Make
sure the gold contact
area on the card is
facing downwards.
3. Insert the battery into
place by aligning the
gold contacts on the
phone and the battery
(1) and pressing it
down until it clicks
into place (2).
4. Align the back cover
over the battery
compartment (1) and
press it down until it
clicks into place.
