NO SPARK

Check
1. Spark plug

2. Minimum spark gap

3. Engine stop switch
4. Primary coil resistance
5. Secondary coil resistance
6. Wiring (Ignition system)
NOTE:
Use the following special tool(s) in this
troubleshooting.

IGNITION SYSTEM
1. Spark plug
Spark plug condition
Spark plug type
Spark plug gap
Refer to the CHAPTER 3.
Standard spark plug
B9EVX(NGK)
Spark plug gap
0.6∼0.7mm
OK
2.Minimum spark gap
Disconnect the spark plug cap
plug. Connect the ignition checker (dynamic
spark tester)
as shown. Turn the crank and
measure the ignition spark gap.
Minimum spark gap
6mm
OK
Ignition system is good.
Check the fuel system,
engine or carburetor.
