Pull trunk lid release to open trunk
from inside of vehicle.
With rearview camera
Push trunk lid release to open trunk.
Without rearview camera
Push trunk lid release to open trunk.
NOTE
Smart key needs to be within range.
Trunk lock button
To unlock and open the trunk with the mechanical key
HYUNDAI GENESIS
The trunk lock button is used to prevent
unauthorized access to the trunk.
To activate the trunk lock system:
1. Open the glove box.
2. Press trunk lock button OFF. In the OFF
position, the trunk can only be opened
with the mechanical key.
3. Remove mechanical key from the
Smart key.
4. Close and lock the glove box with the
mechanical key.
NOTE
With the mechanical key out of the Smart
key, the Smart key can only operate door
locks and start the engine.
Insert the mechanical key into the key slot
located as shown on the trunk lid and turn
clockwise.
