• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,

vases or plants, in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids could seep into the

interior of the housing and in doing so impair the electrical safety. Apart from that,

there is a great risk of a ﬁre or a fatal electric shock. In such a case, cut off the pow-

er supply to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and pull the

mains plug out of the mains socket. Remove all cables from the device. The prod-

uct may not be operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.

• Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water,

strong vibration or heavy mechanical stress.

• Do not place open sources of ﬁre, such as burning candles, on or right next to the

device.

• Never leave the device on without supervision.

• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.

• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for

children to play with.

• Also observe the safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating

guide.

• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's

Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are

to be observed.
