Use [SET] to start the func tion
ClearScan All: searches all de fined fre quency groups for
the ones with the great est num ber of re ceiver chan nels
clear of in ter fer ence. Once a group is se lected an ad di tional
scan is made to de ter mine the best fre quen cies in the
group:
Af ter press ing [SET]
Press [MENU] to abort
Af ter scan ning, ClearScan will dis play the group that has
the most in ter fer ence free re ceive chan nels. These clear
chan nels are dis played on the right half of the screen. Busy
chan nels are rep re sented by an X. Press [SET] to place the
re ceiver on this group. ClearScan then scans to se lect
the clear est chan nels within the group (see ClearScan
Group). Press [SET] to ac cept this chan nel and re turn to
the op er at ing screen.
The [UP] and [DOWN] but tons may be used to se lect the
next best group/chan nel and so forth.
Press [MENU] to re turn to the Op er at ing Screen with the re - -
ceiver set to the Group, Chan nel and Fre quency it was on
prior to ex e cut ing ClearScan.
