Installing the BreezeMAX Si Residential Gateway
Introduction
Overview
The WiMAX Residential Gateway is an indoor WiMAX subscriber station designed to
provide Internet access for a home or small office. The device provides a gateway function
between a WiMAX service provider and a local Ethernet LAN.
The WiMAX Residential Gateway includes up to four RJ-45 Ethernet switch ports for LAN
connections and two RJ-11 Voice over IP (VoIP) phone ports. An optional 802.11g module
is available for some models that provides a Wi-Fi access point service. All models provide a
web-based management interface for the configuration of all features.

  • Page 7 Connect a standard (analog) telephone set to the RJ-11 VoIP ports using standard telephone cable. The WiMAX Residential Gateway enables VoIP calls to be made through the unit using a regular (analog) telephone set connected to a VoIP port, or from PCs or other network devices connected to the LAN ports.
