Messaging

Email

1. Select an Email account and then
press O to view the received Email list.
2. In Email list, you can use the following
functions by pressing the left soft key
[Options].
Reply: Creates a reply to the selected
v
Email.
Forward: Forwards the selected Email
v
message to others.
Retrieve (POP3 only): Retrieves new
v
Email messages.
Copy to (IMAP 4 only): Copies the
v
selected Email.
Search: Searches for the Email you want
v
to find.
Delete: Deletes the Email.
v
Delete from server (POP3 only): Deletes
v
the message or Email from server.
Message synchronisation (IMAP 4 only):
v
Synchronises Email to retrieve Email
server.
Create new message: Creates a Message,
v
Email or Voice message.
Mark/Unmark: Use Mark/Unmark option
v
for multiple selection.
Set as read/unread: You can set the
v

selected Email to read or unread.
Sort by: You can sort Email based on
v
several different options.
Permanent delete (IMAP 4 only):
v
Removes the selected Email data.
Message information: Brief information
v
on the message including size, type,
date, time and filenames.

Drafts

The Drafts folder is where your saved or
half-written messages are stored. Select a
message and then press O to edit the
message.
You can use the following functions by
pressing the left soft key [Options].
Send: Sends the selected message.
v
Call: You can make a voice call or a video
v
call to the recipient.
Delete: Deletes the selected message.
v
Create new message: You can write a
v
message or an Email.
Mark/Unmark: You can select one or
v
more messages for multiple deletion.
Filter: Displays messages by desired
v
message types.
Message info: Brief information about
v
the saved draft.
