OPERATION: SET A PAD VOLUME: Press the (VOLUME) button once to enter the PAD ASSIGN (VOLUME) menu. The corre- sponding menu indicator should light up. To assign a volume to a pad, select a pad by either pressing the (PAD) button to search through all 7 pads or by hitting the pad you wish to assign a voice to.

Pressing both buttons together will set the tempo to the current song default. METRONOME: The metronome will automatically engage when a song is playing but with only the indicator flashing.
