1. Why am I not getting the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Performance?
Make sure that all components of the computer are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compliant (including
host controller and hubs).
2. Do I need to install a driver if I'm running Windows 2000?
Only if Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) has not been installed on your computer.
3. What is the data transfer speed for the device?
The ImageMate 8 in 1 Reader/Writer operates at data rates up to 480 Mbps.
4. Is Hot-swapping supported for this device?
Yes. You do not need to turn off your computer when you connect or disconnect the
ImageMate 8 in 1 Reader/Writer. See DISCONNECTING
5. Do I need a power cord to use the ImageMate 8 in 1 Reader/Writer?
No. The USB cable is all you need to connect the device to your computer.
6. I inserted a card in a slot, but the LED isn't on. What's wrong?
If a card has been inserted, but the LED isn't on, the card may not be correctly inserted or the
device is not plugged in. To resolve this problem, check to make sure the device is plugged in
to the USB port on your computer. Then remove and then reinsert the card.
7. What do I do if I need warranty service?
