When
the
list
command
is
entered
from
your computer
or data termi-
nal,
the screen displays
a
list
of
the
Modem's
current (or defaults
on
start-up)
parameters. Press
(D
to
send the
list
command. The
screen
echoes
your
command
and

The
second parameter

BITS/CHR:
is
not
displayed
when
the
Modem
operates
at
300 bps
rates
since
the
DCM
212
pays
little
attention to
bit
count during low speed
operation.
However,
the
bit
count
is
important during 1200 bps
opera-
tion since the
Modem
must
process
incoming
and
outgoing
data.
The
value
of each parameter
is
indicated
by a
res
or
No
response,
ex-
cept
for
the abort character
setting
which
is
a
HEX
value.
Seven-bit
words and
even or
odd
parity are
possible.
If
parity
is
set
up on
your computer
terminal before
you
send
the
wake-up
command
the
Modem
will
automatically
correct
its
parity parameters. Seven-bit
words
with 2 stop
bits
are also acceptable.
