Switch machine on or off by turning on/-
off switch 1.
The keys on the machine head are pres-
sed to set off certain functions.
Reverse sewing or intermediate
backtack within the seam

Activate pre-set top-feed stroke

Diode on = high stroke
Diode off = low stroke
Switch off backtack function for
one tack
Activate pre-set stitch length (on ma-
chines with quick-change stepping
control -918/29)
Diode on = long stitch length
Diode off = short stitch length
EMERGENCY key. presser foot
and needle are raised and the
machine switched off (diode on).
