For cameras that are compatible with both P-TTL auto and
TTL auto (
taken using TTL auto when the aperture on the lens is not set
to A. However, if the aperture is set to anything other than A
with cameras that are only compatible with P-TTL, full flash
output is used.
n TTL auto flash compatible cameras
In addition to using PENTAX digital SLR cameras, you can use
645N/II and 67II cameras to take pictures using the auto flash if
it supports TTL auto. (The 35mm (Film) SLR cameras and the
original 645 format cameras do not support TTL auto.)
n Compensating flash output with the mode dial
Use the mode dial to set the output of the flash. The mode dial
has seven positions.
For the auto flash mode there are "-0.5", "AUTO", "+0.5", and
"-1" (green area).
* The camera must be set to something other than manual mode.
* If the camera uses a flash output compensation function, and
flash output compensation is set both on the camera and the
flash unit, the flash output compensation amounts will be
combined. Refer to the camera operation manual for details.
* Adjustment is only possible with P-TTL.
Setting
+0.5 Flash output is 0.5 EV higher than standard AUTO.
AUTO Flash output is automatically adjusted.
-0.5 Flash output is 0.5 EV lower than standard AUTO.
-1 Flash output is 1 EV lower than standard AUTO.

Bij camera's die compatibel zijn met zowel Automatisch P-DDL-
flitsen als Automatisch DDL-flitsen (
), kunnen opnamen worden gemaakt met Automatisch
DDL-flitsen als het diafragma op het objectief niet op de stand A
wordt gezet. Als echter bij camera's die alleen compatibel zijn
met Automatisch DDL-flitsen het diafragma wordt ingesteld op
een andere stand dan A, wordt de volle flitsintensiteit gebruikt.
n Camera's compatibel met Automatisch DDL-flitsen
Behalve met PENTAX digitale spiegelreflexcamera's, kunt u
ook met de 645N/II en 67II-camera opnamen maken met
automatisch flitsen, als de camera Automatisch DDL-flitsen
ondersteunt. (spiegelreflex (film) camera's en camera's met
het originele 645-formaat ondersteunen geen DDL auto.)
n Flitsintensiteit corrigeren met de functiekiezer
Stel de flitsintensiteit in met de functiekiezer. De functiekiezer
heeft zeven standen. Vier standen voor automatisch flitsen:
"-0.5", "AUTO", "+0.5" en "-1" (groene gebied).
* De camera moet in een andere stand dan handmatig worden gezet.
* Als de camera is uitgerust met een functie voor correctie van
de flitsintensiteit, en flitscorrectie is zowel op de camera als
de flitser ingeschakeld, zullen de hoeveelheden flitscorrectie
worden gecombineerd. Raadpleeg de bedieningshandleiding
van de camera voor details.
* Aanpassing is alleen mogelijk met P-TT.
Instelling
+0.5 Flitsintensiteit is 0,5 LW hoger dan standaard AUTO.
AUTO De flitsintensiteit wordt automatisch ingesteld.
