The

Model 460B is a wide band distributed amplifier especially
designed to amplify high speed pulses to high voltage levels with
negligible overshoot.

drive the deflection plates of a cathode ray-tube.

is possible, since either the upper o r lower deflection plate may
be connected to the ground terminal of the Model 46OB.
Thus the Model 460B amplifies positive pulses
