D Amplifier control buttons
Controls the corresponding functions of a Yamaha amplifier.
A (Power)
Turns your amplifier on and off.
INPUT ( / )
Switches input sources.
VOLUME ( / )
Adjusts the volume.
MUTE
Turns mute on or off.
For details on operations, refer to the manual of your
amplifier.

These buttons may not work for some Yamaha amplifiers.
E A (Power) (☞ P.11)
Switches this unit between on and standby mode.
F PURE DIRECT
Turns on or off PURE DIRECT mode. Audio quality will be
improved when PURE DIRECT mode is on.
Note
The digital output and front panel display are turned off
when this unit is in PURE DIRECT mode.
G CLEAR (☞ P.16)
Clears the last programmed track of an audio CD during
program editing mode.
Clears all programmed tracks when playback is stopped
while exiting the program mode.
H PROGRAM (☞ P.16)
Turns on or off program playback mode. In program
playback mode, you can playback tracks of an audio CD in a
programmed sequence.
I SHUFFLE (☞ P.15, 19)
Switches shuffle modes.
J NOW PLAYING (☞ P.18, 21)
Displays playback information when selecting (browsing)
music files, folders, etc.
K RETURN (☞ P.18, 21, 23)
Moves up one level when selecting (browsing) music files,
folders, etc.
L OPTION
This button is not available for this unit.
