3.1.5. Do not short the battery cartridge terminals. Shorting out the terminals may cause and
explosion, burns and or a fire.
3.1.6. Do not touch the terminals with any conductive material.
3.1.7. Avoid storing battery cartridge in a container with other metal objects such as nails, coins,
etc.
3.1.8. Do not expose battery cartridge to water or rain. Battery short can circuit cause a large
current to flow, which may result in an explosion, overheating, possible burns and even a
breakdown.
3.1.9. Do not store the tool and battery cartridge in locations where the temperature may reach or
exceed 50 ゚C (122 ゚F).
3.1.10. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn
out. The battery cartridge can explode in a fire.
3.1.11. Be careful not to drop or damage the battery pack.
3.1.12. Do not use a damaged battery.
3.2. Tips for maintaining maximum battery life
3.2.1. Charge the battery cartridge before completely discharged.
3.2.2. Always stop tool operation and charge the battery cartridge when you notice less tool
power.
3.2.3. Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge. Overcharging shortens the battery service
life.
3.2.4. Charge the battery cartridge with room temperature at 10 ゚C - 40 ゚C (50 ゚F - 104 ゚F). Let a
hot battery cartridge cool down before charging it. Charge the battery cartridge once in every
six months if you do not use it for a long period of time.

4. CHARGING

4.1. Plug the charger into the mains outlet socket (230v) the red light with illuminate showing mains
supply. The charger is now ready to insert the battery.
4.2. When you charge a new battery pack or a battery pack which has not been used for a long period,
it may not accept a full charge. This is a normal condition and does not indicate a problem. You can
recharge the battery pack fully after discharging it completely a couple of times.
4.3. Unplug the charger from the power source after the charge is complete.
4.4. Please remove the battery from the unplugged charger for storage.
4.5. Charger is to be plugged into a 230v AC outlet only.
4.6. If the battery pack is too hot or too cold, the charger will not fast charge the battery pack and the
red Indicator light will "blink". When the battery pack temperature returns to between 0°C and
50°C, The charger will automatically begin charging.
4.7. If both red and green indicator lights are "ON" the battery pack either does not comply or is
defective. Please contact your retailer.
4.8. Do not use a generator for charging the battery pack.

Make sure that you charge the battery for at least 1 hour before operation.
