14.Igniter and Battery Assembly
(a). Remove igniter cover and lock
washer from igniter, insert igniter through
from back of sear side burner control
panel, secure lock washer form front of
sear side burner control panel.
(b). Install battery into ignition box with
positive terminal facing outward.
(c). Replace the ignition battery cap after
the battery has been installed.
Note: Make sure the igniter is assembled
with the wires upward 45°,so that the
wires are away form manifold. See Fig.19
15. Searing Side Burner Valve Assembly
a) Remove the 2 screws from the searing side burner.
Then remove the searing side burner. See Fig.20.
b) Loosen but do not remove the 2 screws
that are pre-attached to the valve. Insert the
searing side burner valve into the searing
side burner control panel and bezel. Align
the screws on the valve with the large side
of the holes on the bezel. Slide the screws
down to the smaller holes and tighten the
screws to secure.
c) Replace the searing side burner, angling
it so that the side burner tube slides over the
valve orifice.
