  • Page 5 SPRAY GUN HANDLING Your new spray gun is exceptionally rugged in construction and is built to stand up under hard continuous use. However, like any other fine precision instrument, its most efficient operation depends on knowledge of its construction, operation, and maintenance. Properly handled and cared for, it will produce beautiful, uniform finishing results long after other spray guns have worn out.

OPERATION Proper handling of the gun is essential for obtaining a good finish. The gun should be held at right angle to the surface being covered, moving parallel with the surface. For precise control of the gun and material, the trigger should be released before the end of the stroke. Hold the gun from 6 to 12 inches (15,24cm to 30,48cm) away from the surface depending on material and atomizing pressure.
