16 Engine starting and
emergency stopping

Right, on the handlebar.
With the ignition key in position ,,2 .. in fig. 5, the
motorcycle is ready to be started. To start the
eng ine (see " A .. ) presse the button .. 1 .. START.
To stop the engine (in case of emergency) turn
the button in position ,,3 .. or ,,4 .. OFF.
After engine stopping reset key in position ,,0 ..

The control lever for starting a cold engine is
fixed to one of screws securing rocker box cover
to left cylinder head .

Throttle control
