Presidential Alerts to receive emergency Presidential alerts. Presidential Alerts is always

grayed out (not selectable) and cannot be excluded.
 
Imminent Threat - Extreme to receive emergency alerts of extreme emergency situations
l
(extraordinary threats to life or property).
 
Imminent Threat - Severe to receive emergency alerts of severe emergency situations
l
(significant threats to life or property).
 
Amber Alerts to receive alerts related to missing or endangered children.
l
 
Emergency Alerts Test Messages to receive a test message to make sure that the alert
l
messages can be successfully received.
Long Message Reassembly
When you receive a long message, it is divided into up to 15 messages and delivered to your phone.
You can choose to combine them to display as one message rather than segmented ones.
 1. From standby mode, press MESSAGING (left softkey) > OPTIONS (right softkey) > Long Message
Re-assembly.
 2. Select On or Off.

This feature allows you to select certain information in a message, calendar event, etc. and
automatically save it or use it in a related application.
Simple Data Exchange works with these types of information:
 
Email addresses
n
 
Street addresses
n
 
Phone numbers
n
 
Web addresses (URLs)
n
Email Address Options
 
Highlight an email address, press
n
 
Send Message to select Message. The messaging application will open and the email
l
address will appear in the To: field.
 
Share to select Message. The messaging application will open and the email address will
l
appear in the message body.
 
Save to Contacts to save the email address in Contacts.
