Selecting a scale
How
to set the
last
step
(T)
Make
sure
that
the
composer
is
stopped and
in
the
Step
Writing or
Tap
Writing
mode.

Push
the Scale
Key
®
as
many
times
until
the
Dis-
play
shows
the scale
you want.
See
the
Step
in
the
Display.
It
has
only
12
steps. This
means
that
the
rhythm
will
be
played
up
to
the
1
2th
steps,
then
returns
to
the
first
step.
That
is,
this
is
the
rhythm
of
3/4
time.
The
preset
rhythms
B-1 to
B-16
also
need 12
steps.
The number
of
the steps
can
be changed, which
we
call
"setting
the
last
step".

Select the preset
rhythm C-15
(Walz),
and
the
Dis-
play
responds with
