    Windows Troublshooting J9: Connect to USB Header on motherboard of computer The eFilm Reader-19 will accept CompactFlash Cards of Type I (3.3mm) and Type II (5.0mm) including IBM Microdrives, SmartMedia(3V), Secure Digital/MultiMediaCards & Memory Stick. It’s ‘hot swappable’ - You can insert and remove cards without the need to shut down the computer.

    Figure 1 Hardware Installation Installing the eFilm Reader-19 will require opening your PC and configuring your hardware. Refer to your computer’s manual for disassembly/assembly instructions. Shut your system down and turn off the power. Disconnect the power cord and remove the cover from your computer. Touch a bare -metal part of your computer to discharge static electricity.

    Select Format and follow on-screen instructions. The installed drivers come with a formatting application which can be used to repair corrupted cards. It can be accessed from Start/Programs/eFilm Reader-19/Digital Media Formatter. Select the media type from the dropdown list and press Start.
