5. If you have the MOD 350 key expansion module, use the TIP 300 / TIP 300 S
EXT port to connect it to the telephone. Please consult the MOD 350 Installa-
tion Guide to obtain detailed instructions for installing the module.
6. After the installation, follow the directions in the Configuration section.

4. Configuration

4.1. Factory default settings

The product comes from the factory with the following network settings:
» WAN interface (Internet port): DHCP client (receives network IP).
» LAN interface (PC port): Bridge mode.

4.2. Network access

» DHCP: the IP telephone will receive an IP address, mask and gateway supplied
automatically by a DHCP server, making manual configuration unnecessary. If
the IP telephone does not receive the network settings, check to see if the IP
telephone is configured as a DHCP.
» Fixed IP: the IP address, mask and gateway will be configured manually by the
user or the network administrator.
» PPPoE: when the modem is in Bridge mode and the IP telephone functions as a
PPPoE and router, ADSL authentication is performed by IP telephone.
