• Preset positioning, alarm activation, and tour capabilities: Introduction RapidDome presets can easily be set up and recalled by the operator when using ADEMCO Video RapidView systems. Three tours may be programmed. Each of RapidDome’s alarm inputs automatically call a preset when an alarm is activated.
1. Setting up the RapidDome 1.1 Wiring Details 1.1.1 Mounting The RapidDome is designed for speed of installation and set up and so the wall and ceiling mount brackets are supplied pre-wired. Customer Chapter 1 wiring is via an internal terminal block PCB which is located inside the base plastic cover.

2.1.6 False Ceiling Model Note: The RapidDome is designed to be mounted in a flat ceiling installation. Mounting the RapidDome in an angled ceiling installation will affect the units center of gravity and, consequently, programmed tours will be affected.

Connection to one twisted pair output using long cables - use the ‘daisy chain’ method detailed above instead. If separate cables are brought back from the RapidDome to the transmitter then the code distributor (ADCD8TP) must be used to provide individual RS485 output to the cameras.
