5.5 – Thermal protection
The electric heater includes two thermal protection devices,
one with manual reset and the other with automatic reset.
The first one must always remain accessible and both must be
located in the upper part of the electric heater. Once connected,
this is in the air discharge of the indoor fan.
NOTE: The heating coil assemblies (accessory/option) can be
supplied with all required connection parts (thermal-magnetic
switches, cables etc.). In this case only the installation in the
panel shown and the electrical connection as shown in the
wiring diagram are required.
If the electric heater is supplied installed in the unit, no
additional operation is required, except in split system units
where the connection cables between the electric heater in the
indoor units must be run to the power and control box in the
outdoor unit.
NOTE: This manual refers to accessories and options with
„D" as the final letter in the ordering code.
WARNING: The power supply must always meet applicable
local, national and EU standards.
