BALLAST SECTION BALLAST SECTION
The Ballast receives 24V from the SMPS on CN1 pins 1~5. The Inverter On (INV ON) command
arriving on CN1 pin 12 starts the Ballast drive signals, (120Hz). g p
P-DIM is delivered from the Main board through the SMPS to the Inverter on CN1 pin 14.
The Ballast responsible for delivering approx. 1.2kV to each of the 8 Cold Cathode Florescent
bulbs. This is accomplished by 8 step-up transformers, 1 for each lamp.
