Trusted Devices

Paired Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between
your phone and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey is
shared between devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the
discovery and authentication process.
To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device:
1.
Press

If no devices are currently listed, press the left softkey
Otherwise press the right softkey
4.
Select Search and press
in-range Bluetooth devices.
5.
Select the device you wish to pair with and press the left softkey
Add to List
6.
Enter the PIN number and press

The name of the Bluetooth device is displayed. Press the left softkey
for Done.
8.
Highlight the device and press the left softkey
Successful will display if the device is connected properly.
9.
If you wish to customize the Device Name for the paired device, enter it
now. When you are finished, press the left softkey
Waiting for Pairing
If you are going to be using a Dial-Up Network (DUN) profile to pair with a PC, you
will need to allow the other device to initiate pairing with your phone.
To allow your phone to be paired with another Bluetooth device:

Select Wait for request and press
5.
Select Always Visible or Visible for 3min and press
