Lithium Ion Batteries

Motorola's Lithium Ion (LiIon) batteries are high energy-density batteries that offer increased
capacity and are lighter in weight than similar sized Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal
Hydride batteries. The LiIon battery is an Expert Performance (E•P) battery. Matching a
Motorola E•P battery with an E•P charger helps achieve both optimal charge capacity and
extended battery life.
Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries
Nickel Metal Hydride batteries (NiMH) are high-capacity batteries that offer up to 30% more
talk-time than comparable Nickel Cadmium batteries. To help achieve maximum life and
capacity for your NiMH battery, do not leave the battery in the charger for more than 24 hours,
and use only Motorola-approved chargers.
Slim Nickel Metal Hydride Belt Clip Batteries
The Slim Nickel Metal Hydride battery features a built-in battery clip, allowing you to
conveniently clip it onto a belt, purse, etc.
