To enter text in Multi-tap mode, press a keypad key
repeatedly to cycle through the letters and number
on the key. Repeat this step to enter each letter.
For example, (with your text entry mode set to
Multi-tap and Word completion selected) if you press 7
once, then 4 twice your display shows:

numeric mode
Press # repeatedly in a text entry view to switch to
numeric
mode. Press the number keys to enter

the numbers you want.
After 2
seconds, your
phone suggests
a word. Press
S right to
accept it, or

enter a space at
the cursor.

Shortcut:
You can press and hold a number key to
temporarily switch to numeric mode from iTAP™ or
Multi-tap modes. Enter a space to change back to
iTAP or Multi-tap mode.

Press # repeatedly in a text entry view until your
display shows a list of symbols. Scroll to the symbol
you want, then press the centre key s.
volume
Press the volume keys to:
• turn off an incoming
call alert
• change the earpiece
volume during calls
