Replacing the keyboard

Procedure

Align the screw holes on the keyboard with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.

Replace the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.

Adhere the touch-pad cable, the I/O-board cable, and the keyboard-
controls board cable to the keyboard.

Slide the keyboard cable and the keyboard-backlight cable into the
keyboard-controls board and press down on the latches to secure the
cables.
