Your Nextel phone offers two choices in text messaging services with
Nextel Mobile Messaging—Text and Numeric Messaging and Nextel
Two-Way Messaging.
•
Text and Numeric Messaging allows others to send you a message
that is displayed directly on your Nextel phone.
•
Two-Way Messaging uses the Nextel Wireless Web to provide
immediate contact, even when you can't make or take a call. Two-
Way Messaging allows you to send, receive and respond to text
messages quickly and discreetly.

With Two-Way Messaging, you can:

Receive messages (up to 500 characters in length) with built-in
replies and respond to them at the touch of a button.

Create and store your own frequently used responses that let you
send informative answers without keying in text.

Send messages to one individual from your phone or contact
several at once from any email system or nextel.com.
•
Respond to messages when you're in a meeting or noisy location.
