Connecting Two Speakers to
a Monaural Amplifier
You can connect a second speaker to
cover a wider listening area. The speak-
er puts an 8-ohm load on the amplifier.
If you connect a second speaker in se-
ries, the load increases to 16 ohms. If
you connect a second speaker in paral-
lel, the load decreases to 4 ohms.
Check your amplifier's specifications to
see which connection to use.

Connecting Two Speakers to
a Stereo Amplifier
You can connect two speakers to an
amplifier for stereo sound. Connect one
speaker's positive (+) and negative (–)
terminals to the amplifier's correspond-
ing positive and negative left speaker
terminals. Connect the other speaker's
terminals to the amplifier's correspond-
ing right speaker terminals.
