15-Inch 2-Way Speaker
Your Optimus 15-Inch 2-Way Speaker
is designed to deliver uniform sound dis-
persion with excellent sound quality.
Your speaker's protective corners and
carrying handles make it portable, so
you can use it anywhere you need it. It
is ideal for clubs, schools, churches,
conference rooms, auditoriums, and
other locations that require controlled
sound coverage.
The speaker's 15-inch woofer and piezo
horn tweeter make it suitable for voice

or music. Its / -inch phone jack and two

terminal posts make it easy to connect
to any amplifier. You can connect two
speakers to an amplifier for stereo
sound.
SPEAKER PLACEMENT
An ideal speaker system covers the lis-
tening area with a consistent volume
level without reverberation (echo) or
"dead" spots (areas without sound).
One Speaker Two Speakers
To cover a wide area, you might need
one or more additional speakers. If you
use more than one speaker, overlap the

CONNECTIONS
Note: Be sure your amplifier is turned
off before you make any wire connec-
tions.
Using the Speaker's Terminal
Posts
Use color-coded, two-conductor, 18-
gauge or larger speaker wire to con-
nect the speaker to an amplifier using
the speaker's terminal posts.
Note: You can find the proper speaker
wire at your local RadioShack store.
