Use only as described in this manual. Use only Vax recommended attachments. WARNING: Do not recharge non-rechargable batteries. Do not use the Sweeper if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water. - Page 5 If not handled correctly, liquid could escape from the battery pack. Avoid any contact with the fluid. • If the battery pack needs replacing, contact the Vax Service Line on AU: 1300 361 505 / NZ: 0800 800 900. Do not replace the battery pack with other batteries.

Inserting the battery pack WARNING: Only insert into the appliance the battery pack supplied or an original battery pack that you have subsequently ordered from Vax. Insert the battery pack with the contact first into the battery compartment. NOTE: As long as you insert the battery pack with the contact first into the appliance, it is not important which way around you insert it. -

NOTE: Only recharge the appliance after the battery has been fully discharged (i.e. when the brush roller will no longer turn even though the battery pack is inserted properly). Maintenance (Keep your Vax as good as new) Transportation and storage WARNING: Never store the appliance next to heat sources (e.g. stoves or radiators). Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight. Heat can damage the appliance. Always carry the brush sweeper by its handle (see image). -
