    INSTALLATION INSTALLATION 2.1 Preliminary Instructions Installation must be carried out by following the instructions contained in this handbook and only by a licensed tradesman in accordance with local codes, or in absence of it, with the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 or with the Natural Gas Installation Code CAN/CGA-B149.1. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage caused by faulty installation.

    INSTALLATION 2.3 Connecting to the water-main The unit should be connected to your water supply by way of a water faucet. The water pressure should fall between 14.5 and 72.5 PSI. If the water pressure is excessive, a pressure regulator must be installed. The pipe used to discharge the water must be heat resistant and allow for the free flow of the discharge water.

If you do not follow these instructions exactly, a fire or explosion may result, causing property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. Make sure the basin is clean, otherwise clean it as described in paragraph 7.1. If you are using the cooker for the first time, you need to thoroughly clean all the parts that can come into contact with foodstuffs.

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Routine maintenance consists of daily cleaning all the parts that can come onto contact with food- stuffs and of the periodical maintenance of the burners, nozzles and of the outlet pipes.
