In ABC mode, tap
(Unshifted) to enter all letters in lowercase.
(One-character-shifted) to capitalize only the first letter of a word.
(Caps lock) to enter all letters in uppercase.
The Number & Symbol keyboard is in two layers. Tap
layer.
Some keys have alternate characters. If a key displays an extra character on the
upper right corner, touch and hold the key to enter the character. Or, touch and long
hold a key to call up a list of all the characters available on that key, and slide your
finger to the character you want to enter on the list.

Voice Input
You can use voice input to enter text by speaking anywhere that you can enter text with the
touchscreen keyboard.
1. Tap
on the keyboard.
If
is not displayed on the keyboard, touch and hold
settings menus and tap Settings > Show Voice Key.
2. If you see Speak now, say the text you wish to enter into the microphone.
3. Confirm the text you wish to enter is displayed and tap Tap to pause. The entered text
is defined.
4. Tap Tap to speak to continue.

Copy and Paste Text

In applications that require text entry, such as Messaging, use the copy and paste functions to
copy and paste text from one application to another.
To copy and paste the text:
