Syncing Email Accounts
Syncing refreshes your phone with the account's servers.
When setting up an email account, you can choose
whether the account syncs in the background or must be
synced manually.
To manually sync an email account:
Touch Email
Switch Between Email Accounts
1. Touch Email.
2. Touch at the top, left side of the screen to display
your email accounts, inboxes, and folders.
3. Touch the Email account Inbox you would like to make
active.
– or –
Touch Combined inbox to display email messages
from all accounts.
The new Email account inbox or Combined inbox
displays.
Sync.

Email Settings

You can edit general preferences, which apply to all email
accounts, or configure settings for specific email accounts,
such as email address and password, name display and
signature, frequency of retrieval, etc.

accounts.
1. Touch Email.
2. Touch Menu
Available settings depend on the type of email account,
and may include:
• Display

Auto fit content: Shrink email content to fit the
screen.

Message preview line: Choose the number of lines
displayed in the email list to give you a preview of an
email's contents.

Title line in list: Choose the title line (in bold for
unread messages), to display the sender or the
subject.
