Follow the chart below to determine the correct receive mode for your needs.

– The answering machine must be connected directly to the machine for <AnsMode> to work.
– Voice mail is not supported with <AnsMode>.
– The <NET SWITCH> mode is available for certain countries only and requires subscription to a network switch service.

Set the Receive Mode

Press [Additional Use [
Functions]. select <4 FAX SETTINGS>,
then press [OK].

Use [ ] or [ ] to Use [
select <4 RX MODE>, select the receive mode,
then press [OK]. then press [OK].
NOTE
– For <AnsMode>, make sure
an answering machine is
connected to the machine.
– If <AnsMode> or <FaxTel>
is selected, you can select
some settings as below:
