Hawk 1LP (Wide) Installation Guide, Rev. B Introduction This manual is organized to assist you in the installation and operation of your Seagate Hawk 1LP (wide bus) family disc drive. When transporting or shipping a drive, a Seagate approved container must be used. Keep your original box. They are easily identified by the Seagate Ap- proved Package label. Shipping a drive in a non- approved container voids the drive warranty. -

If the drive "Busy" LED shows no on/off activity when the host is trying to communicate with it, an incorrect bus address selection at the drive should be suspected.
