Performing a Blood Glucose Test

Before you perform your first blood test, set up your meter correctly. You need the
meter, a test strip, and a lancing device with a lancet loaded.

1. Prepare your lancing device.
2. Wash and dry your hands.
3. Insert a test strip into the meter in the direction
of the arrows. The meter turns on.
