Understanding
the ViewPoint
® on-screen
menus
One of the distinctive
features
of this TV is Mitsubishi's
exclusive
l ViewPoint ®
ON-SCREEN
OPERATING
SYSTI-M
Unlike
other television
menu systems,
ViewPoint
® includes
a
special Picture-in-Picture
screen to let you view the TV picture
while you are using the menu.
ViewPoint
®also provides
step-by-step
instructions
for using some
of the TV_s special
capabilities.
When using the ViewPoint
® system,
please
keep the following
in
mind:
• The selected
menu item is indicated
in yellow.
• The on-screen
menus
will turn
off if no item i,; selected
within
5
minutes.
• Some on-screen
menu items must
be set befbre other items are
available.
For example,
"Set the Timer" will only be available
if
"Set the Clock" has been set.
• You can exit the on-screen
menus
any time by pressing
the
MENU button
repeatedly.
You will then retu:rn to regular
TV
viewing.
• You can also exit the on-screen
menus
by pressing
the HOME
button
on the remote
control.
You only need to press the HOME
button
once to completely
exit from all menus
