Voice mail server
(Menu 9.6.6)
Use this menu to store the number of the voicemail
server and access your voicemails.
Your service provider can give you the voicemail server
number.
Connect to voice server: connect to the
voicemail server to allow you to listen to your
messages.
Voice server number: enter the voicemail server
number.
Band selection
(Menu 9.6.7)
For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it
must register with an available network.
Your phone can handle any of the following types of
networks: Combined GSM 900/1800, Combined GSM
850/1900, and GSM 850/900/1800/1900.
The country where you purchased your phone
determines the default band that it uses. When you
travel abroad, you must remember to change to an
appropriate band.

Security

(Menu 9.7)
Use this menu to protect the phone against
unauthorised use by managing the several access
codes of your phone and SIM card.
If you enter an incorrect PIN/PIN2 three times in
succession, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, you
need to enter your PUK/PUK2 (Personal Unblocking
Key). The codes are supplied by your network operator.
PIN check
(Menu 9.7.1)
The 4- to 8-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number)
protects your SIM card against unauthorised use.
When this feature is enabled, the phone requires your
PIN each time it is switched on.
Change PIN
(Menu 9.7.2)
Use this menu to change your PIN. The PIN check
feature must be enabled to use this feature.
